In this episode of the Photo Bar Podcast I talk about how remembering visits to my grandmother's farm in rural Indiana as a kid helped me realize how important the planning process really is to grow your business as a photographer and small business owner.
Waking up one day and deciding you want to start a business is a great start, but actually running a business is not easy and we need to do a lot more in order to make it work. Planning, determination, diligence, hard work, planting seeds, and checking on crops are just a few parts of farming. Although farming might seem totally unrelatable to being a photographer and small business owner, they have a lot more in common than we might think.
